In May of 2014, I had the honor of marrying my high school sweetheart, best friend and love of my life. Having planned every detail - down to how much space was needed between each favor - I knew event planning was what I was destined to do.  Shortly after returning from our honeymoon, I was promoted to Events & Membership Manager at my former job, where I put together corporate trade shows with over 1,200 attendees along with multiple company luncheons. After having my first child and my angel on earth, Jorja Rayne, in March of 2015, she inspired me to fulfill my dreams of becoming a wedding coordinator, and I never looked back. After working for other wedding planners, I felt I needed to create my own business that was 100% me and who I am. So in December 2016, I officially open Peachy Keen Weddings & Event Design. Mind you, I was 3 months pregnant with my second child, Jenesis Noelle (my other angel on earth). People said I was crazy for starting a business with a toddler and another baby on the way, but that’s me, when I have a passion I put everything I have into it…nothing will stop me. In my free time I love to spend time with my family and our English Bulldog (he passed away right after my second was born, but my heart won't let me delete this), traveling the world, reading, crafting/DIYing and drinking wine.

 

Once I decided wedding coordinating and event planning was the only world I wanted to be involved in, I jumped in full force and received my Certification from Weddings Beautiful International in 2016 and, just recently, completed Cal State San Marcos’ Wedding Planning Program. Now, I’m happy to say I get to do what I love every day and work with incredible couples during one of the greatest moments of their lives. I can creatively design and coordinate your dream wedding that you have been imagining your whole life with a peace-of-mind every couple wants and needs.

Born and raised in Princeton, Illinois, I took a huge leap 2 years ago, and moved out to California and haven't looked back since. I am an organizer to the core, and you will always find me with: pens, highlighters, and my planner. When I am not  behind the scenes for your special day you can find me with a glass of sangria on the beach, catching a flight back home to spend the weekend with her friends and family, at a concert, and always at the baseball game.

 

Having a background in weddings on the catering side of things, I always wanted more. Because I have always had an innate passion for wanting to help people, I made the decision to move over to wedding planning, I thought "Since I love to help and seeing people's visions come to life why not help out on one of the most important days of their lives!" And I have to say so far I love every minute, and like my move to California...I will never look back.
